The Accommodation

Our aim with all three cottages is to offer genuinely special accommodation and facilities to help make your holiday truly memorable. All the buildings are carefully restored, decorated and furnished to a high standard and all have electric central heating and each have their own attractive patio/garden area with furniture, parasol and barbecue. The Fishermans Cottage

The largest of the three ‘The Fishermans Cottage’ has a beautiful ancient vine decorating the stone frontage and contains three bedrooms, comprising of two doubles and one twin plus a fully equipped bathroom, kitchen and living/dining area.

Ground Floor:
With double doors leading out onto the pretty main courtyard, the living/dining room contains a table, chairs and comfortable seating area, plus a TV for watching dvd’s and a CD stereo. The adjoining open plan kitchen has an electric cooker, microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and washing machine plus all you will need for a group of six people. The ground floor is completed by a double bedroom also with double doors leading onto the courtyard.

First Floor:
The main bedroom with oak beams and a countryside view from the window has an attractive double-bed while the twin bedroom also contains traditional oak beams and has a view across the millpond and orchard at the rear. The bathroom is fitted with a bath/shower, toilet and washbasin.

LE COTTAGE DU JARDINIER (max 5 people)

Draped in pretty wisteria ‘The Gardeners Cottage’ contains three bedrooms, made up of one twin, one double and a single plus a fully equipped bathroom and open plan kitchen/living area.

Ground Floor
With a stable door leading onto the courtyard and double doors opposite onto the cottage’s own patio, the living/dining area has a table and chairs plus a comfortable sofa for watching dvd’s on the TV or listening to the CD stereo. The integral kitchen has an electric cooker, microwave, dishwasher and fridge. A washing machine is also available by arrangement. A twin bedroom and a fitted bathroom containing a shower, toilet and washbasin complete the ground floor layout.

First Floor
Set up steepish wooden steps on a mezzanine floor with traditional oak beams, is a double bed. This leads on up three steps to a further single room, that also has oak beams and is ideal for an older child.

Bread Oven

The Bread Oven

‘The Bread Oven’ is a picturesque old stone building complete with double bed, French oak beams and terracotta tiled floor as well as featuring the beautifully restored original oven! No you don’t have to cook in it – just turn on a light! Outside the lovely patio/garden is centred around our ancient and mysteriously shaped ‘roll-right stone’.

With a large picture window overlooking the orchard and swimming pool, the comfortable living/dining area has a table and chairs as well as a fold down bed-settee (if booked for two fishermen rather than a romantic couple!), plus a TV for watching dvd’s and a CD stereo unit. The adjoining kitchen has an electric cooker, microwave, dishwasher and fridge. The bathroom contains a shower, toilet and washbasin.

Mezzanine
Set above on a galleried wooden floor, up some fairly steep steps, is a double bedroom with a window overlooking a magnificent mature walnut tree.
