On a Spring day before the start of the 2014 season the Moulin lake was completely netted out to check on both the health of the carp and also remove many unwanted other residents. Carried out by our trusted carp supplier and his crew, it was a dramatic all day affair. Taken out were 140kg of bream, 25kg of roach, a handful of sizeable zander (one 25.8lbs!) and pike, plus a substantial quantity of smaller fish and fry. Only some large ‘doctor fish’ tench and a couple of jack pike were returned to the water.
